I bought Minecraft and wanted to play it, but I don't see any skins (nor mine) but my friends see my skin. What can I do about it?

Press F5 or go to the graphics settings and try all the buttons

What do you mean by all buttons?

You can use your name. Just click around everything suspicious in the graphics settings and if you are lucky you will see your skin again. Can you explain with me whether you just can't see the hand, or don't see yourself when you press F5
