Which Minecraft version do you actually like best? Write it down.
1.8 Was always my favorite, most of the mods were for the version, and yes it was just nice, but now I always play the latest version - if I ever play Minecraft
No 1.8 was even left out of many mods.
1.8 was the last I played and the best. 😅
I mean that I had most of the mods on the version:-)
"The best version" does not exist. It just depends on what you want to do.
If you only play survival Vanilla and do not need any mods, we recommend simply playing the latest version as you get most of the content there.
If you prefer to play PvP, the 1.8. * Is the best option, most PvP-heavy servers still run on the version and even if you can play with newer versions there, it works best with the server version.
If you like to play with a lot of mods or complex modpacks, 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 are still available today. 1.16. * Comes there slowly but is not really suitable for it. But that will certainly change in the next few weeks.
Personally, I play 1.12.2 Modpacks, 1.8.9 PvP and 1.13.2 Survival because the server on which I do this is still running on the version, so I'll change it. I also run 1.16.2 privately with friends.
