Story mode minecraft?

My little brother would like to have minecraft for his Playstation. Could you please explain the difference between story mode and normal?

I don't know anything about it

As far as I know, story mode is just a point and click adventure. No multiplayer and you can't build yourself etc.

In normal game you can really do everything yourself, in story mode there's a story but you can only go different ways and build nothing yourself etc. If you have story mode, you have to buy new ones, but you can still do it with Minecraft Continue playing and experiencing new things, just have a look at yt videos on story mode and normal

Story mode is a fixed story that you play through with pre-made characters. The normal Minecraft is just its own world that you can build alone or with friends and design as you like. Personally, I prefer normal Minecraft because you can live out your creativity much more.
