I have a question about FPS boosters like Razor Cortex or Smart Game Booster.
Is it bad for my computer to use boosters like this because it is theoretically overheating or something, isn't it? I use this booster because I eg. Minecraft would like to play with shaders.
I'm not an expert, but game booster disable background programs so they're actually not harmful to your pc
Your CPU has a certain power limit, which is not changed by Razer Cortex or similar programs, so your CPU does not get warmer than without it.
However, these programs do not help any more than if you simply close everything yourself before playing.
