Why do you want to buy Fortnite? Isn't that free?
Minecraft gives you more options and they don't destroy the game / if you don't like a version you don't have to play it.

You can currently buy the full version of Minecraft for just under 24 euro. Fortnite Battle Royale, on the other hand, is free and certainly will always be. If you mean save the world, you can get the cheapest option for just 20 euro. But now to the essential: You can play both games at the same time, as many streamers, YouTubers or other normal users do. Minecraft offers the possibility to play mini games, program plugins, run your own server network via a root server, give your creativity free rein. I myself, play both games ^^
