Moin Meistäää,
I'm currently putting together a white PC and had actually planned the Gigabyte 2070 Super white but now I have seen the 1080TI, which costs just as much as the 2070 Super and is also available in white. From the benchmarks, I can't really tell which cards are more worthwhile. I want to play Minecraft and other shooters or OWG with it, but never without ray tracing, because I pay more attention to FPS than to the graphics.
Which is more worthwhile for gaming and which is more future-proof?
2070 great
The 1080 TI is no longer the best either
But you can also take the 2060 super. Is only 3% weaker than the 70s
I would take the 2070 Super
But in the benchmarks, the 1080TI beats the 2070 Super in some games. And there are more video memories
Although the 1080 TI has more vram?
Is my recommendation. You don't have to follow.
Yo It also depends on the clock rate, power consumption and cooling
The 1080TI has more power but no ray tracing. In addition, the RTX 2070 S has the chip from the 2080. Just a few cores are deactivated. The thing is that you can overclock the RTX 2070 S better.
Are you only interested in gaming or something else?
Hi
here the current ranking
take a look at yourself, don't want to reveal anything
https://www.pc-erfahrung.de/grafikkarte/vga-grafikrangliste.html
Moin definitely take 2070
And that's how you would rate it. Came to 1080TI due to the GPU ranking at Userbechmark
What do you take as a reason?
Mostly gaming. I will also stream on the Ryzen 7 3700x and video editing. Ray tracing is not itching because I prefer more FPS than better graphics. And that little bit of shade just adds a little value
Which video editor?
I don't know yet, but I think Filmora Wondershare 9
It's about the super not the normal.
Take a look at Davinci Resolve. It's free and has a lot more features.
Yes, they have been sorted correctly for years after extensive tests and mathematical calculations, some do not want to believe, but it is always true. The 80s cards from nvidia were always very strong, even the 980 is still far ahead today.
That means, for only gaming and more FPS, is the 1080TI used more suitable than a new 2070 Super?
At Davinci I only had the download, but then I had to pay something. That's why I gave up on that
Where do you have to pay what? Got it too.
As far as I remember I could download it and when I started it it let me choose packages and all of them cost. Which resolve do you use?
Is it there?
Well, they don't wear out. Give full power to the end. Of course, the two are not far apart, you can use both well.
You made the comparison between 2060 S and 2070 but it is about the 2070 S.
What would you rather take then? If you don't want ray tracing and pay more attention to the FPS?
So again to the question: Are the few FPS important to you? Because the 2070 S also has other technologies that the 1080 TI does not have. Maybe you want to try ray tracing? You never know. I would take the 2070 S.
I'm no longer a gamer, for me it is more important to have a quiet run and thrift, but as a gamer I always rely on full power and I know what they do with their cards, so I would take the new one, the 2070
Raytracing Rtx 2080chip easily overclockable newer
You need to know if all that money is worth 5-10fps more
I meant it. And if you had any idea, you would understand that the performance swing is from 3% 2060s to 2070s.
So for me it's 12% https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/...4048vs4049
