I have a question. I'm currently building a castle in minecraft creative mode, and today, before setting up the castle, I tested whether there were no mobs spawning in the interior.
In the main hall, in which there's nothing, not even a floor, mobs spawn because it is very dark there. But now I've noticed that mobs also spawn in the corridors of the walls where it should be light enough.
After thinking about it for a long time, I came up with the idea that the mobs from the black main hall would also spawn into the walls because these are only a block away. Is that possible?
Torches everywhere or light in themselves
If you are really bothered by the mobs, you can set it to peaceful, right? 😊
I have light everywhere, but still the fear that they will also spawn in the illuminated corridors
But afterwards wanted to play hard in survival.
No, enemy mobs shouldn't be able to spawn where there's enough light. But you can spawn in the hall and then run into the corridors.
Simply illuminate the main hall sufficiently or lay carpet on it, on which no mobs can spawn.
If it is bright enough they don't actually spawn there and if you don't like them at all, switch to peaceful
I have taken precautions against this, the doors are too high for you.
Build the main hall, finish, place the light there and see if some still spawn 🤙🏼.
You have to measure the light level everywhere. One block is enough for the spawn to be. Otherwise, put carpets or something in there. They can't spawn on it.
Have now put another lantern in every corridor. I already have around 60 lanterns to illuminate the heap… If it doesn't work now, then afterwards, for better or worse, I have to put it on peacefully in survival before approaching the castle…
You have several options how to prevent this 1. You do / give @s Light block 1 15 and place the block anywhere in your burt
2. You make a command that kills the enemy all the time
3. You turn off the mobs in the settings of the world
