I just wanted to make a LAN world with a friend.
I'm in the ethernet in my Wi-Fi via LAN cable.
My world is also shown to him but when he goes in there comes this message (picture).
Can jmd tell me what we have to do to get him in?
You should just restart it a couple of times (The World or Minecraft)
OK
Still does not work
Is your friend connected via Wi-Fi or LAN?
He is in my WLAN via LAN cable
If I make a LAN world he sees it but if he makes one I don't see it
You may have to turn off the firewall. I once had the same problem and when I turned off the firewall for the public network, it worked. But remember to turn the firewall on again, otherwise hackers will find it easy
No, that's not technically possible. Either LAN cable or WLAN radio network
LAN = Local Area Network
WLAN = Wireless Local Area Network
We made a LAN cable on the PC and set LAN and then there's my Fritzbox
Okay, well, and you're connected to the same Fritzbox with a cable?
No I want to make out the dear. Then we get a small Aternos Vanilla Server to build
I'm on ethernet
Physical connection? The cable that goes away from your computer is in the Fritzbox?
From my friend's PC or laptop?
They are both plugged into Buxen that can be plugged into a socket
Then it is probably due to the internal wiring of the house…
You can change little about that, at most someone who is familiar with it
Ok then we continue to play on our Vanilla Aternos server which we have just created which is also good then he can at least continue to play from home
You can also install mods / plugins on aternos
[Edit]: Ok, it's done, I just saw that the problem was probably found
