So… I wanted to play Minecraft with my friend and he has his own world that we always play on. I've always been able to join him, but if I want to join his world (where he's online) there's always no connection to the world. No matter how many times I try to join.

So if it's a server your friend needs to give IP, then you need to click on Add Multiplayer Click on Server and then enter the IP at server address.
