I have the following problem. I open% appdata%, go to my Minecraft folder and then to Saves now I would like to save my other Minecraft worlds from a saved USB stick to another computer, but the computer does not want it point no copying is carried out in the process window. Is this a bug in the new Windows 10 version or is my USB stick broken or do I have a virus? What to do?

Au

Maybe the stick is copy-protected?

Can you, for example, transfer the worlds to the desktop?

Tr

No, unfortunately not. Nothing works.

Au

Then that's probably due to the stick. Google how to find out if it's write-protected.

Tr

I assume my USB stick is formatted incorrectly. I recently reset it to FAT32. My friend said that would be so okay but I always thought that it would no longer work.

De

Are you sure you copied the files and not just shortcuts? When inserting, does the question arise about user or admin rights?

I would offer you a team viewer session, but you should not accept that from strangers.

De

FAT32 should actually work with every Windows without problems

Tr

I don't think it's write-protected. Only the name and with the file system FAT32

Tr

Actually, I just don't understand why the new win version suddenly doesn't work anymore.

De

Can you take screenshots of the directories and pin them to your question?

Tr

I think we have the mistake. We had connected a 3.0 USB to the USB adapter, I think that it overloaded the PC.

Tr

Unfortunately I'm not online via mobile phone.

De

Take screenshots with your mobile phone?

De

OK. That looks like the cause. As a precaution, I always plug storage media directly into ports and not into hubs, because I've already wrecked sticks (especially if you still have old, obscure devices with you, such as flatbed scanners from the USB stone age with their messed up Asbach drivers).
