Why can't I copy signs at Worldedit?

So I use Server 1.12 and Minecraft 1.12, and there's a problem that I can't copy signs through Worldedit. Because if I paste the copied signs, then the text will not be copied. Does anyone have any idea how to fix the problem? Because I will not write off every single sign ma because there are a lot of signs in this world.

ph

That will probably nothing! The text is not a Block_State and therefore will not be copied. Could try it but with MCEdit. Would have to go.

Otherwise you can search for an addon mod or another mod.

Ju

But I use server! Do you know any plugin?

Oa

You will not get around single putting. (But, if you press the mouse wheel while pressing CTRL, the text should be on it.)

ph

No, I do not know any plugins. If you use a server, the worlds are stored in the server folder. Shut down the server and edit the world with MCEdit. Should work.

Ju

Then can you please program this plugin for me?

ph

Which PL?

Ju

Yes, where you can mark the signs with World Edit, and man can insert signs with text.

ph

No! Download MCEdit and edit the world with it. Should work, maybe watch a YT tutorial.

I may write games but no MC plugins!

Ju

But what does that mean if MCEdit itself is totally obsolete.

ph

MCEdit is constantly updated! So it will be able to copy the signs described. That could at least in the 1.8

I can't offer another solution. Either you try it or you leave it and write it by hand, because how do you say so beautiful? Tasting is about studying.

If that does not work out by the way, you probably have to write it by hand… Sorry.

I'm aware of this problem only with a wrong WE version, if you switch from 1:11 to 1:12 and the worldedit not updated.

The suitable version is worldedit-bukkit 6.1.7.3.jar

Delete the old config and regenerate it at the server restart. In this is in line 32 disallowed blocks. Here, see if the plate number is there and delete, worldedit reloaded.

If the version is not correct, a note is also displayed in the logs / console. If you have the right version, then look in line 32 of we.
