Shark people. I use Worldedit to copy and paste structures.
Now I have a problem. I have made my own trees and would like to insert them on my large land area as soon as possible. My question now is whether it is possible to paste my trees with a tool, i.e. With a simple click, that is, to insert them. If so then please explain it to me and also insert the commands. Oh yes, if it doesn't work with Worldedit but you know a mod or plug-in with which it works, then please let me know.
It is definitely possible. Watch the commands on YouTube.
Select the entire tree with worldedit, enter "// copy" and enter "// paste" wherever the tree should go.
I've already tried. I only found one thing that unfortunately no longer works. It is a plug-in for Worldedit but it is unfortunately out of date. I just don't find anything and that's stupid.
You didn't understand the question. I know how to copy and paste. But I want pasting to work with a tool. And unfortunately I don't find anything.
So you want to have a "block" in your hand and if you put that in there your tree will come?
Yes exactly. The thing is that I saw a video and it actually worked in that video. With a shovel he just clicked on the ground and then the tree came. It works with the Schematic command. It is only now that the video is from 2016 and is therefore very out of date. In the video he says that you need a plug-in for worledit. He linked it but the plug-in is very out of date and that's why it doesn't work. Now I'm looking for a new solution and because of that I ask you if you know a possibility.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about that, but I can recommend a mod with which you can generate things immediately. This mod is called "Instant Structures". Your problem will be that you can't plant your tree. So you should be able to add your own stuff to this modification.
Take the tool in your hand and enter:
// brush clipboard
I tried. Unfortunately, this only works with small things. My tree is too big so it gives me the error message: Maximum brush radius (in configuration): 6. It's a shame because that would have been the perfect solution. Is there any way to get around that?
Update: I solved the problem with the brush. Now I have only one problem. If I now click on the surface with my tool, my tree does not spawn on the surface but it spawns much deeper than I would like. How can I solve this? Is there a command I can use to say that it shouldn't spawn so far down?
