My friends laugh at me because I don't have a gaming PC?

I have really good friends, but they secretly make fun of me because, firstly, as a female person, I like to gamble, and secondly, I'm not allowed to buy a gaming PC.

I understand my parents 100%, I don't need an extreme PC, a laptop that can run Minecraft is enough for school, anyway.

I can make my dream come true later.

But I don't know how to counter when my friends come back with such condescending comments…

I just don't think it's so urgent to have a great PC now, and that would only distract me from school, as much as I would like to have such a PC.

How can I react normally? Somehow I just can't cope with it and always feel left out and directly declared stupid…

Good friends but they laugh at you? Something is wrong there. Just do better things than play on the PC. Then you can laugh at your "good" friends because they can't do anything but gamble.

Something's wrong with your friends. If they only judge you based on your hardware and software, I would slowly start looking for new friends.

You know there are people who get everything at the expense of their parents or other people and then brag about it elsewhere in order to be better off. If I were you I would just ignore that because everyone has to decide for themselves what they need and what not.

Just tell the boys clearly that wakes up that you think it's childish, that they define you via your pc.

if they are your friends, then they can accept you as well. I mean, it's not like you chew away your gaming pc or anything.
