How to escape from the end (Minecraft)

I defeated the dragon and collected the Elytera. How do I get home now?

Go back to the portal and through

Back to the main island on which there's a portal with which you can get back to the upper world.

And how do I find it?

Run back to the portal with which you came to the extended end.
