Ps4 controller does not charge properly?

Hi, I bought a Ps4 controller on Ebay a few days ago to. It was a bunch of friends playing Minecraft on the iPad. I don't have a Ps4, so I only have the power socket to charge. When I plug in the controller, it lights up yellow once, then the light bar goes out and, as it normally does not have to, it doesn't come back on. I've already unscrewed the controller, everything is in its place. I've also tried several power supplies and cables, always the same problem… Can anyone help me?

Can you charge your cell phone on this USB port? If not you have to switch on the power supply of the port in the BIOS.
