I want to play Minecraft with shader and texturepack. I have a good graphics card and sufficient RAM. I have set imauncher that Minecraft has 8gb RAM available, but if only the shader is active, the game only uses 600-700 mb RAM although it could use much, much more, what?
The graphics card isn't even the most important thing for Minecraft.
What CPU do you have, do you play on a server and which version do you use?
I often have the problem of the frame rate with me, sometimes only 60fps with Ryzen 5 3600 and RX6700XT. Minecraft is apparently just very badly optimized.
AMD Ryzen 7 if that's what you mean.
Minecraft must never allow access to all of your storage. You are allowed to give a maximum of half of your ram, otherwise the game can't work well with the ram. So I would first set it to 3 or gb, and maybe install mods like Optifine, or the badlion client, these give you a lot of features and a lot more fps (with my 2070s I went from a good 100fps to 400 with schader)
If you're only using 600-700MB of RAM with shder, it means Minectaft just doesn't need any more. The game then takes the 8GB if there's also 8GB to use. If you want to use your RAM completely, you have to get very high-resolution texture packs. (× 1024 or higher)
I have laby Mod where optifine should be there but I have no idea how to set it because I was still playing with mods. I also only allocated half the ram
Whether he should use 3GB now depends on how much RAM he has. I suspect it is 16GB in total. The 8GB fit there.
But that's not because of the RAM. Special about the components OR VERY IMPORTANT: The shader settings. I assigned a Ryzen 5 3600X and an RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB of RAM. For smooth FPS I have to set the shadow quality and the render quality to × 1. Then I get around 70FPS with serious PTGI shaders
I'll try, thank you
With pleasure. If there are still problems, feel free to contact us. You can also try at the bottom right of the shaders there's another setting that belongs to the shaders. There are certain levels. (Only sometimes): Low - Middle - High - Ultra - Extreme / Cinematic.
I turned it on but the game crashes instantly
Ahh now it works and even runs with 50-60 fps I made everything to 0.5. I'll try a little more rum, maybe it will get better
Yes OK. How high you can make the settings again depends on the hardware. What kind of components do you have exactly?
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
AMD Ryzen 7 3750H
16GB Ram
Ah, i see. You have a laptop. (I think) with a GTX 1650, certain shaders are of course relatively power consuming. I can recommend the Silver Vibrant Shader to you. It doesn't need that much power and it's really nice
Okay, thank you, I'll take a look at him.
