An example: I bought Minecraft on my Macbook. Do I have to buy Minecraft on my PC? Or how does it work.

If you have linked your Mojangacc with the Minecraft you have purchased, you can simply log in again on the pc.

You can use it on both but only one at a time I think

If you log in with the same account, you don't have to buy Minecraft again.
