When does Minecraft 1.16 come and how can you play snapshots?

For one thing, I would like to know when 1.16 comes out? I know it should come out soon in spring, but there's somehow more specific information. And how can you play the snapshots from 1.16?

There's no date, so nobody can tell you. 2020 is planned.

Select for snapshots in launcher on installations and development versions. There you can select the latest snapshot and start it.

As far as I know there's still no date for 1.16, but you can play the snapshot by going to the top of the installations in the Minecraft Launcher and then doing development versions (it's a small box in the top right in the middle). Then you can simply create a new profile with a snapshot version or take the latest development version (snapshot) profile.

Snapshots are trial versions, there are no restrictions. If there are resource packs, you can use them normally.

But because they are test versions, nobody can assure you that there will be no bugs and crashes. They are even very likely and can also lead to a loss of world. In addition, a lot can and will change. Things that are in snapshots don't necessarily end up in the game later.

They are actually not intended for normal gaming.
