Minecraft full screen resolution change?

Can I change the minecraft resolution in full screen because I have not all good fps with the full resolution?

I think you can only change the PC resolution, in MC this is not possible

You can also turn off other factors in the graphic;)

I'm already quite down and the fps drop very strong

Would like to go to 1920x1080 because I have quite a bit more fps
