I have found a way how I can play properly so in my screen resolution to 1440x900 place but this is quite annoying and must always be changed so I wanted to ask if it is possible Minecraft's fullscreen resolution to 1440x900 switch (the resolution of it with me works properly).

for anyone looking at this old post for answers, if you go into "instalations" and press edit on the one you want to use, hit the monitor icon and select the resolution you want
and in video settings there is a slider
