I will soon have a 240hz monitor that is compatible with Gsync.
I currently have a GTX 1050 ti, which sometimes has FPS drops.
I know 240hz and a GTX 1050ti is not that great but wanted to upgrade soon anyway.
Now the question, should I activate Gsync or not?
I want as little input delay as possible, but it says yes, if you have partial FPS drops, you should activate Gsync
PS: Play Fortnite, CSGO, Minecraft…
What do you say?
You can only try it out, unfortunately none of this is really determinable. It is made for tiering, so no fields, whether that brings advantages at all with fps drops is such a thing, in case of doubt it is always adjusted to the next worse fps so that there are no fields. Say 240 then falls on a fixed number of frames
