The game has a lot of possibilities and is extremely cheap for the constant updates and volume of gameplay. The price went up over the years and started - if I remember correctly - 7 euro.
However, what makes the game an absolute highlight for me are the modpacks and servers, mainly modpacks.
If you have enough of the single player, you can simply immerse yourself in gigantic modpacks or a server world until you have had enough of them. Then you can return to your beautiful, peaceful, calm world. Fortunately, since the takeover of Microsoft, there have been fewer, but larger, updates. Of course, this is a boon for mod creators and users.
The game also pays great attention to its community and sometimes takes features of mods into play when they are smaller, while leaving larger features / entire mods alone, because the actual creator is… The creator. I'm divided on this, but I respect Mojang's respect for the modding community.
For me my most played game, it's just something completely new every time, although the game was / is relatively simple.
It's great to be able to do what you want. Either you like it or you don't. If you want a story-driven game, MC is definitely wrong ^^.
