Minecraft not over 30 fps?

I have a problem with Minecraft. Unfortunately, it does not run over 30 fps. I did not activate Vsync. I have also not regulated the FPS.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 8750H @ 2.20 GHz (Turbo Boost 4.10 GHz)

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB)

RAM: 8 GB (I have assigned Minecraft 6GB)

See if MC ever uses the Geforce, and if not The Intel - iGPU. Otherwise, you have to manually assign the Geforce to this game.

Is your Java version up to date?

Do you have any additional mods, shader packs or high-resolution texture packs installed that could affect performance?

If you do not have Optifine in it, I would recommend getting it for you. That gives a lot of FPS-Boosts.
In it you can set the chunk loading on multi-core, which I would recommend.
And try it under Performance → Enable Smooth FPS.
Also the visibility could be screwed down a bit.

Otherwise check it out in the log, if he gives any messages there. Maybe there are any OpenGL errors or similar.

As a last resort, you could just try another launcher. I often had my problems with the standard launcher.

Is it possibly running in windowed mode?
Perhaps the Umswitchen helps to full screen via ALT + Enter

Ta

See if Minecraft does not use Intel HD Graphics. You can see that when you hit F3. You can change that in the Nvidia Control Panel. Install Vllt Optifine or FastCraft, screw down settings…

Ce

Maybe you have activated that it should only have so much look in your graphics card driver

Ka

Minecraft is running on the Nvidia. Have OptiFine installed, but unfortunately did not bring anything.

Ka

I did it. With Optifine it also runs smoothly. But as soon as I use a texture pack the FPS are back to 30. Even if I remove it then.

Ka

It runs in full screen mode.

Gr

You may need to reassign the Geforce to the game after integrating a texture pack.

You seem to have a notebook. So check to see if MC works better with the Maximum power setting in Windows Power Settings.

Ka

Did I do both? With the Intel I get around 60 fps. With the Nvidia constant 30 fps. Is there somehow a limiter activated?

Gr

See if the Geforce even clocks up to their nominal 3D clock speeds for GPU and graphics memory, if you use them in Minecraft.

Unfortunately this problem is not unknown at Minecraft. In a variety of configurations, graphics cards sometimes have to stay in the low 2D clock rates at some 100Mhz.

Set the GTX to maximum performance in the 3D settings.

I have the same problem, and I haven't been able to fix it yet. (I have exactly the same specs as the guy who posted this) A lot of people here are trying to solve the problem as if the problem is in the hardware not being capable and it needing boosting, but in reality, with these specs it's probably a problem in the settings or something. Especially as it's really maxing out at 30. It simply doesn't go over 30fps, not even to 31. And this happens even if all the graphic settings are as low as they go! At least that's what's going on in my case. Also, to my knowledge MC is more cpu than gpu heavy, so trying to get the gpu to run better, is probably not gonna help heaps.
