1.8.8 is the last version that I still found playable.

Since the new "Combat Update" of 1.9 with the new PvP system, I don't feel like playing anymore. I followed the new updates for a while and my opinion was confirmed: Minecraft was definitely better in the past!

And I played very actively every day from 2011-2016. I roughly spent about 10,000 hours of my life either playing Minecraft, server administration, management of Minecraft forums, or developing plugins.
