Ryzen 7 2700x or Ryzen 5 3600 CPU for gaming and streaming?

I'm faced with the question of whether I should buy a Ryzen 7 2700x or a Ryzen 5 3600 processor.

Which is better for playing and streaming games such as B.

Phasmophobia

GTA V

Fortnite

In silence

Spell break

Minecraft

and even more.

Right now I have the Ryzen 5 2600 and it works pretty well with it.

But not yet optimal the utilization is simply too high!

Is the 7ner better because of the 8 cores and 16 threads because of multitasking or the 5?

AND…

Is the 5 from the 3000 gen is compatible with my main board which is 2000 gen compatible?

Both CPUs should be almost the same in terms of performance, the 2700x has 2 more cores, but the single core performance of the 3600 is better. By and large, I would rather use the 3600 because it is even more energy-efficient, the Ryzen 2700x has a higher power consumption with a similar performance.

Okay, so what's better, especially when it comes to streaming and gaming?

Both upgrades are not really worth it. Only a Ryzen 7 3700x or Ryzen 5 5600x is worth it again.
Although I would tend to the Ryzen 5 5600x if it were available again at a reasonable price.
