I thought about creating a Minecraft modpackserver again. Have this until now always run on my PC. Now I wanted to host one at Nitrado (4 slots only for me and two friends) and wanted to ask if this is the right provider or if there are often problems there. Do you think the Nitrado is sufficient for these "small" claims? Have you read a lot of bad things about Nitrado?
In my opinion, Nitrado is very expensive, I also had my server there and spent a lot of money on slots, although they do not really matter. Why do you pay for slots? This is a setting that you can change instantly with a self-attached server! I do not understand until today. You could just pay for RAM and see that it is enough for the amount of players. I wish I had found McHost24 back then (my recommendation at this point). Since you have as many slots as possible, you can pay by PaySafeCard and the mMn. Pretty cheap. And for 4 players, 2GB of RAM is enough, so you have to get away at a reasonable price
Although I only have a Bukkit server at Nitrado, I have no problems with them. Is a 6 slot server for a few friends.

9,00 euro sounds okay. But as I said, paying for slots is not so nice. Can you rent a server on other sites like McHost24 with unlimited slots (if you play with more friends) for the same price…

150 mods will not even start with 3GB Ram if you're unlucky. Depending on which mods are just. If 4 people are traveling in 4 directions then it will not be fun.
