I bought a monitor 2 years ago and wanted to use it again. But when I look in the Task Manager, Minecraft shows that it is using 3,000 MB. I don't know what the monitor is called, but it's Philips and it says "349X7" on the bottom left. I usually get around 300 FPS on my laptop, but only 20 FPS on the monitor. Please reply.

And then increase the update rate to what your monitor can do (as high as possible)

That may be, many monitors only have 60, but this should still lead to a fairly smooth picture
