Minecraft Redstone Torch Falling Off Piston?

I tried to recreate the seaweed farm in 1.16 (for XP) but unfortunately the redstone torch falls on me after I have placed it on the side of a piston as soon as it has been activated (extended).

Does anyone have any tips? Everything works in the YouTube tutorial, I just recreated xD

Then it's probably a bug, I couldn't turn it on, then restarted and then it worked.

This only works in the Bedrock Edition.

This is completely normal in the Java edition, that is not possible.

Only works in the Bedrock or Windows 10 edition
