Fps Drops in Minecraft?

I recently switched from Windows 8 to Windows 10 on my somewhat older and used laptop. Since then, I've had large fps drops every 15-30 seconds in Minecraft in both single and multiplayer. These Fps-Drops disappear and then come back and so on…

Can anyone help me further?

Info by the way: I've tried something like updating drivers and installing shaders or Opti-Fine but without success.

MineCraft already reinstalled? I know stupid question but well

Have a look in the event viewer… Win + R then "eventvwr.msc"

The biggest mistake most people make is not allocating enough RAM bars.

Gi

How do I allocate more RAM?

Gi

Then what do I do there next?

The best thing to do is watch a video, it's relatively easy, you just have to rewrite it in the launcher and it'll fit

Di

No that doesn't make much difference.

Profile - Edit → Extended and then somewhere max memoru or -xmax1g e.g. At the start command

my

Go to Administrative Events there and see if errors often occur there, e.g. Restarting something musa which vacuumed performance

Ingame:

Lower visibility (brings a lot of FPS)
Change graphics from beautiful to fast
Activate Fast Render
Turn off Smooth FPS
Deactivate clouds
Minimize particles
do not use a shader!

Outside of Minecraft:

You can allocate more RAM to Minecraft (half of what you have on the laptop) and there are enough videos on YouTube how to do that
Set Minecraft's priority to HIGH
Using Badlion Client 3 brings an FPS boost

There are many videos on YouTube that will help you get even more out of it.

How do I fix these errors?

my

It depends on the mistake
