Hi, I haven't played Minecraft for a few weeks and all of a sudden I start the game with massive FPS drops.
The whole thing goes well for 5 minutes, then it starts running, hitting, etc. To drop to 0FPS for about 20-30 seconds. It happens once or twice and then it's all right. However, then comes the next problem. Whenever I jump after these FPS drops (which are also new, by no means normal), it lags. I can move, hit, build, just not jump. Every time I jump my FPS drops to 0 until I stop jumping.
During the time I haven't played, I haven't changed anything, except to update my drivers. (Whether it is because of that? I really don't know anything about it.) As a solution I have already tried other versions, with and without Optifine. Labymod and without, even other launchers. New installation did not bring anything either.
Does anyone know why this could be or even have the same problem?
Do you play multiplayer or single player?
Otherwise just delete the .minecraft folder and restart the game.
Multiplayer. I've already deleted the folder, but nothing
That could possibly be due to the server, otherwise I wouldn't know anything more, probably your computer itself?
I have the problem on several servers. And I just don't know what is different on my computer from day A to day B.
Does that also happen to you in single player worlds?
So it may be because your computer is overwhelmed with the file. I had the same problem and in the single player it helped to turn off the Wi-Fi. In multiplayer, it can be because your Wi-Fi is overloaded and the data is not being transmitted quickly enough because it helps to change the (I think so called) Wi-Fi frequency or that you relieve the Wi-Fi by not having any other devices in the Wi-Fi.
