Hi, I'm 11 years old and I want to become a Minecraft professional. Are there any ways to earn a lot of money at this age? Do I still have to go to school? What is the probability that I will become a Minecraft professional? I have a 7.8 K / D.
There are no "Minecraft" championships. So there's no money for it except you stream and that in turn sells well.
Apart from that, a "Minecraft professional" has to be able to "program" for me like a professional. How is it with you?
That the big money jumps out, I think rather less. There are even more chances with games that are largely announced at the EA and where you still earn money with self-playing.
So with Minecraft, making a lot of money will not do anything. Minecraft is a niche product in e-sport. There are hardly any tournaments where you can win money. If you really want to make money in this area you have to choose games that are popular in e-sports, like CS: Go or FIFA. In addition, you should train several hours a day. The top earners in e-sport often live in shared flats and do nothing but play the game of their choice throughout the day.
You can make money with "Let's play", but for Minecraft there are already tens of people who do that. While you would not have to be a better player, but a better entertainer, if you want to "steal" subscribers to those who have long been "Lets play" for Minecraft.
Minecraft was once for 1-2 months a game that had a chance in esport. To really make money now, you have to stream and really set you apart from the crowd. But you're still too young to start now, and probably would not bring anything. So do yourself a favor, do the school and then program Minecraft 2 and get rich with it.
