Little FPS in games despite a good PC?

You can't speak of good now, but my PC has quite good components:
Intel i5 3470 3.20GHZ
Nvidia GTX 1050 Mini 4GB
8GB Ram 266Mhz
When I play Rainbow Six Siege on high settings I have 120 to 140fps, but with Minecraft e.g. Only 15 fps (wtf) I've tried everything, even with Fortnite or CSGO, fps drops on low settings.

how so?

ra

Well, 8gb ram is not much and the rest is not the best either, it can lead to drops

Me

Yes but why do I have 120fps with R6 and only 20 with Minecraft

ra

Maybe your map needs more than 8gb ram or the render distance is quite high

Dr

Your graphics card is out of date and a processor is almost a dinosaur

tr

These are not good components (9 year old CPU, graphics card is not the best GPU either).

Have you tried Minecraft, for example, to load Optifine or Lunar Client? Minecraft doesn't run smoothly without it even on my 1500 Euro PC with modern hardware.

The frame drops are also normal for the hardware

tr

Usually maps in Minecraft don't need that much RAM, especially its CPU will have problems with it due to poor optimization.

Even on my new PC with good hardware, Minecraft doesn't run so well without Optifine because Minecraft can only use 4 cores of the CPU. Older versions even only have one core.

ra

Well have a pretty big Minecraft that needs around 10Gb ram

Me

Ok thank you, that means a new pc has to be found

tr

, it is best to keep the GTX1050 for now, as it is currently difficult to get a graphics card at a reasonable price.

It can still be used, but the CPU is often no longer.

Chunks too high
