Nitrado minecraft server lags? - 1

A few friends and I rented a minecraft server with 6 GB of RAM and about 70 mods. But it always lies around the whole time extremely rum. Nitrado has already put two mla of the server on another (7g) host system and even updated the hardware. But that did not help and then we came up with the idea that it could be the mods. Then we have disabled from the larger ones but that did not help. I'll probably try each one individually today…

But does anyone somehow know each other and have any idea?

Would be perfect if

En

70 mods sound a hell of a lot. Even if the little mods are with few innovations, I would not start there under 12 GB RAM.

Is there no log where you could check what the problem might be. (At least to narrow down the problem a bit)

Fl

Nonsense, I'm running 160 mode on 2GB.

This misconception comes from the fact that you always have to buy a lot of RAM at the big hosters in order to have reasonably bearable computing power

Fl

4gb I mean *, but is rarely used

Me

I do not need to think big and know where the problem is.

Nitrado is to blame but not again.

Following, Nitrado is a company that has many servers with server hardware.

So Xeon CPU's with many cores, these CPU's have low clock rates, usually 2.0 or 2.2 GHz.

Especially modpacks consume a lot of cpu performance and since miencraft runs on java and java uses only 1 core, these servers are then laggy

I myself have a mod pack with 130 mods on a Dedicated at Hetzner

EX62 NVMe - nvme ssd with 3000mb read write & high i / o rate

64gb ram - i9 9900k (5ghz turbo clock and extremely good cooling)

my modpack server is running in a vm on the system with debian and 12 gb ram (the server uses mostly only 8-9gb) and 1 core and I have permanently 20tps, it never goes below 19.90 tps

the modpack server had on another system with a xeon 12 kerner and 32gb ram a 16tps and has to start and load the mods 5 minutes needed

on the new system he needs 30 seconds to start

and even if several people explore the world at the same time and with all the machines and chunkloaders running, the server remains stable and has only 1-2 seconds to break down on a 18er tps

So you can't do anything yourself with nitrado you can look for a dedicated server with a desktop cpu so i7 4790k or 4770k then it would not be so laggy or just the one I have, but it costs just 90 euro plus Einrichtitungsgebühr

So I do not think so that it is because but trdm dAnke because my brother plays with friends with the 300 mods synonymous on a nitrado server

Yesterday it did not really hit for a couple of hours and we thought it was because the monsters were out and then we turned it on again a little while ago and then turned it back on again

Me

But that's the problem, believe me, the only thing you can do is plug in a plugin (worldborder) then set the border and overnight if you're not ready to pre-generate the world, so that the server does not have to do that if someone does explored. Then it lags less or just if you do not explore and already have a place to build a border of 500 set and then let the chunks outside the radius delete all the server so that does not load

Thank you but that will be nothing because we also live in different villages cities whatever the far from each other
