I recently installed Minecraft on my MacBook Pro 2019 16 inch today. I don't have Optifine or other mods. And I noticed that the picture is kind of distorted or something. I once added an example as an attachment. I also reinstalled Minecraft, even though it was still new, without success. Can anyone help? My operating system is macOS Big Sur. My graphics card is the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M. You can't install drivers yourself on a Mac.
To see it you have to zoom into the picture.
Zoomed in here (the pixelated area is NOT created by zooming), that's the way it is in the game
I see nothing?
Looks like a computer game from the 1980s in terms of graphics.
At the edges
Do you have the field of view set to "normal" in the graphics settings?
Yep, it's more about the distortion at the edges
It just looks like it I think. Since you're not standing by the blocks. Minecraft is pixelated and that's why it looks consumed.
This is normal and occurs with every game. This is called "Field of View", the more degrees the field of view (horizontal or vertical), the smaller the image in the middle and pulls it towards the edge.
If you don't want this effect, you have to set an FOV of about 50-55. This FOV is also used by most console games.
Unfortunately does not help, the edges / textures still book
