2020 is tough and I need a little zen and peace. Minecraft cuts a fine figure here. I wanted it a little fancier so I looked for mods and shaders. This presented itself as a challenge.
Allegedly Minecraft has several versions (for whatever reason) and I use Win10 from the Microsoft Store. Stop being offered, simply and quickly. The more I informed myself about mods and shaders, the more I realized that the Java version is preferred. This Optifine program is also available for Windows 10 as it seems. But I can't install it. The installer tells me: "Can't find Minecraft 1.1.6.3. You must download and start minecraft 1.1.6.3. Once in the official Launcher"
What Launcher?! Minecraft just starts with me without a launcher. My Minecraft version is 1.1.6.40 too
It's strange because I have the latest version of Optifix. What do I have to do now to make all the rubbish work? I just want a better look and a great atmosphere, be it through graphic mods or shaders.
They need the Java version, the Win10 version can't be modified.
There doesn't seem to be any Bedrock Edition mods.
In any case, I didn't find anything either.
Optifine is only for the Java Edition
The Bedrock Edition, which is from the Windows 10 Store, can't be modded like this. All mods and shaders that you downloaded are for the original Java Edition, you can get them on http://www.minecraft.net/...ecraft.net
Does that mean I have to pay money again or is that how it works?
Do I have to buy it again or can I give the information somewhere that I already have Minecraft from the Windows Store. (Of course I don't want to spend money again, that's clear ^^)
Are different games, you have to buy them again.
