PC for some time poor performance?

My PC was always great, it was fast, games ran smoothly, etc. But for a week or so hang out constantly games or longer download or waiting times. Or in minecraft, I'm constantly thrown out. Games are also totally or extremely delayed. PS: I think the PC is over 4 years old.

I ask for help

PC for some time poor performance

Ctrl + Alt + Delete

Research what you find there.

Attention, this is a professional command, not a "click-once-around". If you adjust the wrong things, your computer will not work anymore.

(and then please rotate the picture correctly or tell the support that it is loaded wrong)

Ma

I would advise you to update your operating system and a virus search run to start, a video driver and BIOS update would also make sense, if it is still not better then I would think about a new PC, because your is really outdated (especially for gambling)

ha

A BIOS update? But the rest is very good. Maybe once the disk check for errors with z. B. Crystaldiskinfo. My pc is 7 years old also gambling titles such. Fortnite, Apex, etc. Although I can no longer use the maximum graphics everywhere but it is enough without Laggs.

Ma

This is not a "professional command" and you can't break anything, besides, you can't "research" there. This is just a security command if the PC hangs up

Ma

A BIOS update makes sense If the BIOS has hung up and with an update everything is deleted from the cache…

po

"you can't break anything"

Stop fun of all your Windows processes in the Task Manager?

In addition, I see there at a glance if a program is running which claims the PC performance, then that would be a cause you could "explore" so.

El

Backing up personal data on a separate medium or partition of the existing disk and reinstalling Windows often helps.

Alternatively, use the Windows 10 reset with or without receiving the personal data.

ka

This almost certainly has nothing to do with the bios. I therefore advise of a bios update! Bios updates are very dangerous and you only do them if there's a valid reason.

ka

You have no idea at all.

@ Anyone who wants to believe sertan: It's your calculator, clicks where you want to go. Presumably, Sertan is so young that he does not know the story of this order. But not here. Wiki knows her.

ka

Pity, now he can't read my comment ;-)

ha

Jo, if you're unlucky then you can knock the motherboard into the barrel. If there's no motherboard with the matching CPU socket then it is all new

Ma

But I can read your comment also I'm 31 and IT systems electronics for computer technology and software and run a PC service… I would have to know.

Except in the resource monitor, you can't break anything, because everything you set there's recharged with the restart anyway and thus reversed.

ka

Then disable the services and programs that are loaded at system startup…

and: Your service is probably the sort of call center support, which always recommends "reinstall" and "restart", instead of finding the errors?
