Minecraft mojang does not work on my laptop. Since I also minecraft on the Xbox, I have decided then to switch to the Microsoft version. And I like it a lot!

My question is, are there big differences? Or is the Microsoft version not a correct version? Is that maybe someday gone?

I would like to have a real minecraft version you understand? Do not call me that

Microsoft bought Mojang

You mean the Bedrock and the Java Edition

Oja that's right me

Differences are rather minimal, similar in content

There are no differences in content. Bedrock and Java have the same state thanks to Microsoft. Only the possibilities are different. The Java Edition has the larger and more active community and is easily modbar. And basically, an estimated 95% of the Minecraft servers are for the Java Edition.

The difference between the Java and the Bedrock edition is that the Bedrock Edition can communicate with each other on all their platforms in the form of crossplay. This is a huge advantage, because firstly: users who can't afford a PC or even an Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch, but have a cell phone, it's enough if you have the mobile version. Secondly: It can be downloaded on all devices (except the Nintendo Switch so far) the Xbox App. For those who have the party, others can join via PC or mobile / tablet. Thirdly, purchased content can also be used on other platforms (also retrospectively, as one could buy the packs directly, instead of the coins first, and then the packs afterwards).

Also own resource packages or addons can be inserted via browser externally in Minecraft, you do not have to buy them.

I own the Bedrock Edition for PC, Xbox, and Android. For all 3 variants, I have also saved money, since I have the former MCPE 2014, that is for 4.49 euro, and the former Windows 10 Edition July 2016 for 9.99 euro have gotten.

I also got the Xbox One variant cheaply. So if you want to get the game, but consider it too expensive, then look for cheap key cards for Windows 10, or Xbox One. I think it's worth it.

Other comments about the game:

(Minecraft Bedrock is available on the following systems:

Mobile (Android, IOS, Amazon), Samsung VR, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10 Powered Computers)

(for multiplayer: Online gambling requires an Xbox Live account, Xbox Live Gold membership is only required on the Xbox One, or Nintendo membership on the Nintendo Switch is required to play online, on all other platforms you can Play without Xbox Live Gold.

Minecraft Bedrock Edition is LAN / Wlan enabled:

You can also play the game offline, ie by Wlan or Per Lan with others.

All you have to do is set your smartphone as a hotspot, (in Minecraft on multiplayer settings you need to enable "Mobile Data Benefit" to host yourself or join others) or you connect all devices to a router and some device will start a game. Other devices can then join the menu tab "Friends".

Alternatively, multiplayer is also possible via LAN cable, but this is only possible with the PC / laptop, an Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch (via adapter cable or docking).

[[Note: Xbox Live linked accounts in the game are offline unable to send messages. This is a bug because the lack of internet connection makes the game think the player has no permissions, according to Xbox privacy settings. Users of the game without a cz. Linked Xbox Live accounts can write to each other offline, however, users with Xbox Live account can't even see it, again because of the bug. - Xbox One players have the biggest drawback, since they need to force an Xbox Live account, because they can't use the game without the game.]])

Thanks for the detailed answer! I already knew a lot! Because I've been playing minecraft for a very long time and I've had my Xbox for a long time. Only when the Mojang version on my pc did not work, did I switch to the Bedrock Edition which I now play on my Xbox as well as on my pc games
