This is probably going to be a longer question.
So let's start from the beginning.
I assembled a new PC about 3 weeks ago. These are the specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Rx 580
16gb Gskill aegis 3000mhz
500 watts be! Quiet System power 9
B450-a per max
960gb Kinston a400
Pure base 500
So far so good. However, I have had some problems for about 1-2 weeks. When playing games like LeagueOfLegends or others, my screen suddenly goes black. I continue to hear the game sound! After that I either come back into the game after a few seconds OR nothing happens anymore and I have to shut down the PC with a hard reset, i.e. By holding down the on / off button. I often get an error message after this has happened (see below).
=> I have updated the graphics card, chipset, LAN and sound driver!
I don't know why that could be. I haven't overclocked anything or done anything like that.
I have also noticed that my graphics card has a very strange performance curve.
In the picture below, the utilization of the graphics card always goes from 100% to 10% and back to 100% and so on.
What is important to mention: During this recording below, only Minecraft and OperaGX, so the browser, was running.
I hope you can help me. Perhaps a defect can be identified?
Greetings!
You could do a GPU stress test with Furmark
Is that dangerous"?
So what can happen there?
No. Unless your gpu is defective, but even then rather unlikely
