I have a vServer with 2GB RAM and have a TeamSpeak Server and Sinusbot with 2 bots running on it. Now I want to install a Minecraft Life Spigot server on it. Will 4GB suffice or even 2GB? Are not many plugins and at most 20 players at the same time, mostly only 5-10 players. Expect about 10 plugins. The CPU and everything else is sufficient in any case. Would be nice if you could answer me and if you have plugin ideas, you can also name them (becomes a public server, but without a server team or something. So, like in real life, only public servers and much fewer players).
It depends on your host,
where do you host
I host with a sponsor / hoster Kresu24. 2-4GB RAM is free, you have to pay more
Well, if it's free, just take more
I just don't know if 4Gb is enough
Install htop with sudo apt-get install htop or apt-get install htop, then enter htop and tell me what the server uses
3-5 GB RAM is required for the Minecraft server process alone. You also need RAM for the system and your other services. So you should rather have 8 GB in the vserver.
The server is already running. The RAM is good with 3GB. The CPU is causing problems. Are there ways to make it more economical? Should you use PaperSpigot?
You don't even need a 3 - 5 GB RAM. You can already run servers with one GB of RAM.
I have to say honestly, I also have problems with my CPU because it is loaded at the start. I don't think it will do much
