Hi so I want to make a Minecraft server with plugins (Java Edition). It's supposed to be a public server where you can play bedwars and other minigames. Otherwise there should be a small lobby.
If you have a good provider / website, then you can tell me this + tell me how many players can play it without it lying around.

So Aternos is free.
But the word free doesn't go with No Lags, and even less with Many Players.
I know Aternos but it often lags. Any other suggestions? Or do you know what kind of plugins I need to make such a server?

What you are looking for is not available for free. You have to have money in hand.
What do you expect? A server costs a ton of money… Aternos is really, really good for being free.
Running a server costs money, and none of these hosters are charities. You have ideas…
I'm not a friend of mchost24, but it's okay for a few players. It's cheap too, only the support is poor. I don't know free ones.
