Black screens in full screen?

I only recently bought my PC and whenever I go to e.g. I set CSGO or Minecraft full screen either black screen all the time or at short intervals. Can this be due to my monitor or is it my PC?

Connect the monitor to another port, replace the cable, completely uninstall the graphics card driver and reinstall.
