If I play games like R6, Rocket League or Minecraft, do I have noticeable FPS drops due to the CPU?
Hmm that will not fail because the cpu is simply not complementary to such a gpu and is thus overwhelmed to the maximum. For these games, if I were you, I would think about whether it has to be an rtx 3080 anyway. I personally have a rtx 2080 super oc gaming, with the gamble everything on the highest settings without any problems.
Of course, must a 3080? It is currently the future-proof and cheapest card on the market, especially when it comes to RTX, the 2000 series stinks completely
So the RTX3000s are virtually https://www.computerbase.de/2020-10/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3000-serie-liefersituation/ available. And if you look a little you can get a 2000 cheap. And the ampere cards are really interesting only from WQHD and RTX (which so far only supported a manageable number of games).
It has to be a 3080? There are enough other good graphics cards and you can't complain about rtx 2080 oc gaming. My games run on maximum settings of more than 200 fps, sometimes even over 300 fps. According to the benchmark test, the pc with the gpu was among the top 7% who carried out this test. Almost 800 euro at that time for a graphics card, others assemble a whole PC and are still better at games than you with your Rtx 3080 š
Not really, no.
You think too short-term, you can of course always get cards that are currently sufficient, but you will have to upgrade more often like someone who starts straight away with high end.
Sure, extra services are there. The card is a bit more expensive to buy, but it is cheaper or almost the same in price after a few years as soon as retrofitting begins⦠If it can last for years, of courseā¦
Personally, I only buy a new PC every 5 years, but then go straight back to top hardware, so the top hardware should be sufficient for upcoming games on max settings for about 5 years.
