75fps in Minecraft is well. Playable
I play with 1200fps on a 240hz monitor and don't have the very best PC.
Tip: Tell your friend to give Minecraft a little more ram. Then it also has a bit more fps.
75FPS is really good if you don't play PvP every day. I rarely have 75 FPS: ^)
