I have exactly the same basic data. The offer is a powerful VPS, not a root server. If we were really talking about a rootserver the price for this would be around 120 euro (according to my experience)
So I just asked my boss, and he told me that costs 15 euro per month and once a year 24 euro Domaingebühren. But we've had a worse one before and we only paid 20-30 euro for 8GB of RAM and 200GB hard drive. So in the year we pay about 250 euro.
