Join Minecraft Server over the same network?

I have 2 PCs.

On one runs Minecraft, on the other the Minecraft server to relieve the PC with Minecraft - I THOUGHT ME. Because if I try to connect via localhost then that does not work, of course, is not on the same PC. But in the same network! Is there any code that I can enter to join over the LAN? Both PCs are connected to LAN. And I do not want to join the IP because then the connection is either timed out or something else. And since the IP is constantly changing, my waypoints that I have set with Better PvP are simply lost! What should I do? Do I really need to use the IP?

May I please please

You have to use the internal IP, if you want to use the external, you have to open ports.

You open on the computer with the server so CMD and lead

ipconfig

out.

You must then use the IP for IPv4 address to connect.

Ay

If I remember correctly, you would have to specify the network internal IP of the host PC. That should find, if you open on the host PC cmd and enter "ipconfig".

Oh?! And that always stays the same?

ma

As far as I know, since it is only the internal IP.

It does not matter if you give the IP to someone. He can't attack you and not come to the server.

Does not work, without port release…
