Good morning / day / evening / night
I probably have a little problem. I rented a vServer with 4 cores and 4GB RAM for one day at Nitrado to try out a bit. Now I have managed to get a Minecraft server to run a TeamSpeak server. I reinstalled my server on the Nitrado web interface and installed the most necessary things that I currently have on the box. So to the actual topic I have tried several times to set up an ARK server also using YouTube videos etc. I get it to "start" but the RAM is busy at 3.67GB of 3.86GB and so I think the ARK server has too a ping of around 500-1900 this is my prediction anyway, should I be wrong it would be very helpful if someone also explains a little why the ping is so high now the problem. The server has 0/0 slots. Initially we had 0/70 and tried to install again because we couldn't get to the server and now it has gone from 70 to 0/0
can someone help me a little
RAM and ping are two completely different things.
The ping simply checks the accessibility of your server via ICMP, i.e. The Internet.
If you buy more RAM with 4 GB you will not get far, 16 GB is a minimum that a game server should have.
You can't expect your Popligen 4 GB RAM to be enough for a Teamspeak server, a Mincraft server and an ARK server…
First of all thanks for the answer, the Minecraft and Teamspeak server were deleted, but I have now rented a vServer with 8 cores and 16GB RAM for a day and now it works perfectly! Do you know randomly cheap vServer provider wanted to take the days at Host-Unlimited for 14.99 euro 6 cores and 20GB RAM but the price is curious in my opinion would be nice if you can help me with it @ Dr34mle1
