I have released the ports for my Minecraft server but no one can join. The server runs on the Minecraft standard port and on my IPv4 address. How can I fix the problem?

ca

Which ports are all released?

sp

Tcp and Udp port

Ca

What do you mean by not joining? Are they kicked or is the server not found?

ca

So 25565?

sp

Yes

Co

Are the following requirements met?

Port 25565 / TCP is forwarded
The IP your friends join to does not start with 10.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x (you need the public IP: https://www.wieistmeineip.de/).
Server is reachable internally

ca

Does your IP start with 192? Or differently

sp

My ip starts with 192.168.

sp

Server is not found

sp

198

Co

The IPs mentioned above are private areas and can only be reached if you are connected to the same router.

You should check your public IP address with https://www.wieistmeineip.de/ and share it with your friends.

You still have to join via 192.168.x.x.

ca

Does the IP agree here?

Thank you

sp

No has already cleared thanks anyway

Ca

Where did you edit the ports? Windows firewall or in the router?

ca

Oh well then ✌️ since the IP that is displayed there's your public IP and you would have to pass it on

sp

But both have already been resolved

sp

So it works. Everything just nobody can join, although I have released the ports and changed it in the firewall

ca

But is your server accessible locally?

sp

Yes

sp

It's just not accessible from the outside

ca

Did you release the ports EXACTLY on the server / pc? Or maybe something wrong?

sp

No, it didn't work out yesterday

ca

Then we're back on the IP topic, how did you find out your IP and how does it start.

sp

Via the websites that were sent with

ca

Are you sure that your server is running on port 25565?

sp

Yes

ca

Is the firewall set?

Ps. Hm, it will take longer to write via Girlfriend… Have DC or something…

sp

Yes I have dc ports in the firewall are released

ca

You could simply deactivate the firewall as a test (I know you shouldn't do it but then you can rule it out)

sp

Ok, I can do it tomorrow evening on my pc

ca

Ok then I just create such a "todo" list, things that should still be looked up.

sp

Thank you

ca

Can't find it 🤔

sp

How do you mean?

ca

I can't find your DC name
