I'm looking for a good monitor (4k) 27 inches <
The question is…
Do I need over 60 Hz?
I actually mostly play Minecraft and otherwise Farming Simulator, Truck Simulator, Roblox…
My hardware: Radeon RX 590 Fatboy
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
No, since I don't even think you can play 4k. But I'm not sure about that.
Better buy a better GPU and CPU from the money
Not yet with the games, but your interest in the game will probably expand. Think> 60hz currently makes sense, because there's a big difference. And in the end, now that you are already spending money on a monitor, you'd better spend the 50 euro extra instead of another 200 euro later for a brand new monitor with 144hz
Furthermore, 4k just doesn't make sense, overly expensive but that's your decision
At 4k you get poor. But at wqhd you can also take 144hz. Which I would prefer. According to your games and hardware, 4k is actually too much.
Take wqhd 144hz 27inch
I would recommend a Wqhd monitor because your hardware will have to struggle with the 4k.
Since you do not play eSports games, you do not necessarily have to value a fast refresh rate.
I would do it that way too. 144hz is a great asset and you shouldn't make it dependent on the games you are currently playing, that changes.
Not necessarily. In addition to a more fluid movement through 144 Hertz, there are of course other advantages, but it is not absolutely necessary. However, from my point of view, I would say that 4K is absolutely not worthwhile for games that are played with quite "hectic" movements. You won't have much of the 4K experience there. Also, I hardly believe that your hardware will run permanently at 4k60 with mediocre graphics settings.
If you choose 144 Hertz, then you can consider whether you should not simply use WQHD. In my opinion, it's the sweet spot between graphics and refresh rate. Otherwise, a common model would be to look for a 120 Hertz monitor. This would not have a really big difference from the perception to 144 Hertz.
Exactly
