Is buying Minecraft like this?

No, Gomme etc. Play on the Java Edition, which you can buy on mojang.com

What you have there's the Windows 10 edition - all YouTubers use the Java edition.

It's best to buy this from Minecraft yourself, so that you are guaranteed to get the right version and not be deducted.

You have to download the Mojang launcher from the Internet and then you can buy Minecraft. The other is the Minecraft Poket version for the PC.
