How can I change my microsoft account so that I can have friends?

I downloaded Minecraft yesterday because of my sister (she wanted to play it with me). But I can't add friends there somehow because of my micrososft account. So I can't play minecraft with anyone! I'm adding a screenshot of what it looks like. Was it the same for you and if so, how did you manage to change it? Thank you in advance for your responses!
